Wild Rocket Burger

The perfect wild rocket burger recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Wild boar meat fresh from the butcher I trust
  • 2 Handful Wild rocket leaves from our own cultivation
  • 3 piece Crustis
  • 6 piece Freshly sliced ​​tomatoes
  • 6 El Mayonnaise, see preparation
  • 6 drops Chilli oil see my KB
  • 2 tbsp Seasonal herbs finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp Multi-Purpose breadcrumbs see my KB
  • 2 tbsp Rapeseed oil
  1. Two of the three burgers in the second picture are for me because I am bigger and stronger than my loved one. I had ordered the mince in advance. The burgers were our lunch, nothing more.
  2. I made the mayonnaise according to this delicious recipe from User Snowowl: spicy mayonnaise, I also mixed a roasted red onion with the mayonnaise. A picture of the mayo is included here.
  3. I mixed the meat from the butcher with fresh herbs and some breadcrumbs and shaped it into flat meatballs. These were then fried in rapeseed oil over medium heat until crispy.
  4. The crustis are halved and the cut surface drizzled with chilli oil and then lightly roasted.
  5. Now spread the mayo on the cut surfaces, then come the rocket and tomato and finally the meatballs.
  6. Fold up and enjoy.
