For the meatballs:

  • 250 g Fresh minced beef
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard hot
  • 2 tablespoon Breadcrumbs – homemade
  • 0,5 teaspoon Salt
  • Black pepper from the mill
  • 2 Splash Tabasco
  • 2 tablespoon Oil for frying

For the spicy paprika sauce:

  • 75 g Ham cubes
  • 1 Chopped onions
  • 3 Red pointed peppers
  • 1 Tomato
  • 1 Pickled cucumber pickled
  • 2 tablespoon Pickled cucumber stock
  • 3 tablespoon Tomato ketchup
  • 150 ml Boiling water
  • 0,5 dice Gravy
  • 2 Pinches Chilli flakes
  • 2 Pinches Mixed cornstarch
  1. Preliminary work: Cut bell pepper and cucumber into strips, onion and tomato into large cubes. Mix a minced dough from the specified ingredients and let it rest for about 30 minutes so that the breadcrumbs can combine with the moisture. Then shape about 16 small dumplings out of the dough. Dissolve the gravy in boiling water.
  2. Preparation 2: Fry the meatballs in the heated oil until they are golden brown on all sides, then lift them out of the pan and keep covered until the spicy sauce is prepared.
  3. Fry the onion and ham cubes in the remaining pan fat over a gentle heat until they are translucent, but please do not brown them. Add the pepper strips and let sizzle for 2 minutes; Add the cucumber strips, cucumber stock, tomato, gravy and ketchup, season with chilli flakes and cook the sauce covered over a mild heat for about 10 minutes.
  4. Place the meatballs in the sauce, heat them up again and the spicy dish can be served. It goes well with potatoes and a cauliflower with butter crumbs.
