Melon Granita
The perfect melon granita recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 kg Watermelon fresh
- 50 g Sugar
- 120 ml Water
- 3 tbsp Citrus juice
- Stir sugar into water and bring to the boil, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile:
- Peel the melon, remove the stones and cut the meat into large pieces
- Mix the melon pieces, sugar water and citrus juice in a bowl and puree
- Fill the mixture into one or more flat containers / tins and place in the freezer compartment
- After one hour, pull through with a fork, then regularly until the desired ice crystal consistency is achieved. (at least 3 hours)
