Asparagus in Sauce

The perfect asparagus in sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 6 Poles Fresh asparagus
  • 50 g Butter
  • 2 tbsp Whole wheat flour
  • Vegetable broth here in the Kb
  • Salt pepper
  • Sprinkle lemon
  1. Peel, wash and cut the asparagus into pieces.
  2. Melt the butter in a high saucepan and sweat the flour in it. Then add the broth and bring to the boil. Add the asparagus pieces and let everything simmer gently for about 15 minutes.
  3. Season everything with salt & pepper and round off with a pinch of lemon.
  4. Side dishes: There were boiled potatoes and a salad – a simple meal.
