Energy Bars

The perfect energy bars recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 50 g Melted butter
  • 50 g Peanut butter
  • 1 medium-sized Egg
  • 100 g Cane sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 70 g Unsalted peanuts
  • 50 g Dried apricot
  • 130 g Oatmeal
  1. First mix the butter with the peanut butter and stir until peaks form. Then add the egg, 100g cane sugar and a pinch of salt to the butter mixture. Stir until the mixture is a little lighter. Now chop the 70g unsalted peanuts (you can also use salted ones, only these have to be rinsed thoroughly with water before use) and add to the mass. Chop the 50g dried apricots and add to the mass. Finally, add 130g of tender oat flakes to the mass and mix everything together so that a compact dough is created.
  2. Now spread the dough on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and form about 8 bars with a thickness of 1.5 cm. These energy bars are baked at 200 ° C for about 15 minutes. Then let them cool down a bit and they are ready to eat. Good Appetite ; )
