Vegan granola bars with nuts
With the amounts given, you can prepare about 16 vegan muesli bars.
- Coarsely chop 1/2 cup each of almonds and hazelnuts.
- Then boil half a cup each of sunflower oil and brown sugar in a saucepan. If you want to give the muesli bars a certain taste, add some cocoa or cinnamon, for example.
- When the mixture has boiled, stir in the crushed nuts, one cup of sunflower seeds, and four cups of rolled oats. The muesli bars will be fruitier if you add half a cup of cranberries.
- Spread the finished mass on a deep baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake the muesli bars at 140 degrees for a good half hour.
- After cooling, cut the muesli mass into bars.
Coconut-flavored vegan bars
Again, the amount given makes 16 granola bars, depending on the size you choose for each bar.
- Finely chop 30 g cashew nuts and mix them in a bowl with 20 g chia seeds, 60 g grated coconut, and 30 g spelled flakes.
- Finely dice another 60 g of dried apricots and 30 g of dried cranberries. Add these ingredients to the bowl as well. A pinch of cinnamon adds a delicate flavor.
- In a small saucepan, heat 60g margarine and stir in 100g brown sugar and 20g agave syrup. Then add 150 g vegan cream and the dry mix.
- Spread the finished mass on a deep tray lined with baking paper. Put the sheet in the oven preheated to 180 degrees for a quarter of an hour.
- When the mixture has cooled down a bit, but not quite, cut it into bars.
Vegan granola bars with dates
The quantities given here are again sufficient for 16 muesli bars.
- Put 150g chopped almonds, 250g rolled oats, and 25g flaxseed in a bowl. If you like, you can also add 20g of chopped nuts of your choice.
- In a saucepan, heat, and mix 100g maple syrup with 100g almond butter and 25g coconut oil.
- Put 250 g pitted dates in 130 ml warm water and puree the dates with the hand blender. Put the finished mass in the pot with the almond butter mixture.
- Now mix the still warm almond butter mixture with the dry ingredients. Then spread the mixture on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- In the oven preheated to 180 degrees, it takes about 15 minutes for the muesli bars to be ready. Cut the muesli plate into manageable bars while it is still hot.
