Crepes
The perfect crepes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 250 g Wheat flour
- 4 Pc. Eggs
- 500 ml Milk
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 40 g Melted butter
- 1 shot Rum
- Ingredients for garnish
- Put the flour in a bowl. Add eggs, butter, rum, vanilla sugar and salt. Mix the batter with a whisk and slowly add the milk so that there are no lumps. Then stir everything vigorously for 3 minutes and let the dough rest in the refrigerator for two hours
- Put some butter in a hot pan. Then put the dough in the pan and spread it very thinly with a spatula. Turn after about 2-3 minutes. Brown the other side briefly until the crepe is ready.
- Then “taste” the crepe. The imagination knows no limits. Proven combinations: Vanilla ice cream with hot figs in Cointreau; Banana, Nutella flambéed with rum; Apple compote, ice cream flambéed with calvados; Mango cream or strawberries with cottage cheese; Apple wedges, chopped almonds, cinnamon, flambéed with rum, etc.
