The perfect butterflies recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 125 g Butter
  • 125 g Cane sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Vanilla pulp
  • 250 g Spelled flour

Aside from that:

  • Cake icing

  1. Knead all ingredients into a smooth shortcrust pastry and wrap in foil and leave to rest in the refrigerator for approx. 60 minutes.
  2. Roll out the dough on a floured surface approx. 4 mm thin, cut out butterflies (everything else is also possible, of course), bake on a baking sheet lined with baking paper at 180 ° C for approx. 10 – 15 minutes.
  3. After the biscuits have cooled, decorate to your heart’s content.
