Chicken Sate (spicy)

The perfect chicken sate (spicy) recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Sate meat

  • 800 g Fresh chicken breast
  • 10 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 3 cm Fresh ginger
  • 400 ml Coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp Red curry paste
  • 130 g Peanut butter
  • Salt

rice

  • 2 cups Rice
  • 4 cups Water

Marinate

  1. Cut the chicken breast into pieces, then grate or chop the ginger very finely. Put the meat in a bowl, add the ginger and pour soy sauce over it. Marinate for at least an hour. It is best to cook the appropriate amount of rice before you make the sauce, I used long grain rice.

Preparation of the sauce

  1. Heat the curry paste in a little oil (if you like it spicy, you should use 2 tablespoons of curry paste). Then add the peanut butter and heat. Deglaze with coconut milk and simmer gently, season with salt.

Roast meat

  1. If you like the meat on skewers, you should skewer it on wooden sticks. Fry the meat in a pan until lightly browned. Once the meat is done, it can be served.

Serve

  1. Meat can be served on a plate with rice and sauce. Anyone who has made skewers and is expecting a lot of visitors can fill the sauce into a deep bowl and place the skewers in the sauce. Then serve the rice separately.
