Pig Czardas
The perfect pig czardas recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 4 piece Pork minute steaks
- 20 g Butter
- 0,5 piece Fresh onion
- 0,5 piece Red peppers
- 250 ml Milk
- 200 ml Vegetable broth
- 3 tbsp Flour
- 2 tbsp Tomato paste
- 100 g Fresh mushrooms
- Salt
- Black pepper from the mill
- 350 g Rice
- In this case, instead of veal schnitzel, I took pork-minute steaks. So it’s not an original recipe, but a modified version.
- Cook rice according to packaging. For bag rice, the amount is about 2 bags.
- Place the minute steaks in a baking dish. Chop the onions. In a saucepan, heat the mushrooms and onions in the milk. Then stir in tomato paste, flour and butter. It will thicken a lot, so add the broth. (If you want to do without broth, only use water.) A thick sauce will be created, season this with salt and pepper and pour over the minute steaks. Then place in an unheated oven at 200 ° C and leave for about 35 minutes. Divide the rice between the number of plates and also divide the baking dish and decorate with diced paprika pieces.
- Info: I took a bag of long grain and a bag of whole grain rice on a trial basis. Since I specifically wanted to try the whole grain rice. Also, since I have a semi-vegetarian in the house, I have replaced half of the meat with shredded meat. (These are cooked in broth for about 10 minutes). The two pictures are therefore our two plates.
