Quick Rice Meat
The perfect quick rice meat recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 40 dag Pork meat
- 1 piece Onion
- 20 dag Rice
- 10 dag Red peppers
- 1 tbsp Sweet paprika powder
- 1 tsp Concentrated tomato paste
- Salt
- Pepper
- Oil
Dishes history
- Traditional rice and meat dish from the Balkans, here my modified variant if it has to be quick and easy.
preparation
- Finely chop the onion, coarsely chop / cut the paprika, cut lean pork (schnitzel or cutlet meat) into smaller pieces.
- Boil the rice 1: 2 in salted water.
preparation
- Roast the onion in hot fat / oil, add the fresh paprika, tomato paste and medium-fine chopped pork and fry with it.
- Add a little water and let the meat simmer for about 15-20 minutes, adding salt, pepper and paprika.
- Add rice, mix in, add salt and pepper to taste.
Serving suggestion
- Serve with pickles, something sour. I prefer to use my home-made and canned pusta salad: Hungarian home-made, canned pusta salad
