New York Cheesecake with Strawberries

The perfect new york cheesecake with strawberries recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 300 g Flour
  • 375 g Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Cinammon
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 175 g Butter
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 7 Pc. Eggs
  • 750 g Quark
  • 500 g Lowfat quark
  • 1 packet Custard powder
  • 1 Pc. Grated zest of a lemon e.g. finesse
  • 250 g Fresh strawberries
  • 1 packet Red cake topping
  1. For the dough, use flour, 125 sugar, a tablespoon of cinnamon, 1 packet of vanilla sugar, 174 g butter, 1 egg and salt to make crumbles. Grease a springform pan (26cm) and process the crumble in the form to a smooth base. Then chill. For the quark mixture, put both types of quark in a bowl, add the eggs, 250g sugar, salt, 1 packet of pudding powder and the grated zest of one lemon. Mix to a uniform mass. Spread the quark mixture on the floor and bake for approx. 50 minutes in the preheated oven at 180 ° C (on the lower rail). After 50 minutes with the oven door open, let it rest for approx. 15 minutes. Once the cake has cooled down and removed from the springform pan, spread the strawberries that were previously washed and halved on the cake. Make the icing according to the instructions (if necessary mix with cherry nectar or strawberry smoothie) and distribute over the strawberries, leaving the edge free.
