Vegetables – Chickpeas – Soup with Sausages
The perfect vegetables – chickpeas – soup with sausages recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 3 Onions
- 2 Hot dog
- 3 Garlic cloves chopped
- 3 Diced carrots
- 4 Potatoes
- 1 Can Chickpeas canned drained – approx. 480g
- 1 Can Chopped tomatoes – about 260g
- 1 Dried chilli pepper
- 0,5 bunch Parsely
- 2 Bay leaves
- Dried oregano
- 2 tsp Salt
- Pepper
- Oil
- Water
- It snowed soooo hard again today that I felt like a hot, substantial soup …
- First cut the onions (I had these huge vegetable onions – therefore “only” one) into strips, cut the sausages (I can also imagine kabanossi instead) into rings.
- Steam the onions in a saucepan with a little oil until golden, then add the sausages and fry for about 1 minute.
- Meanwhile, peel the carrots and potatoes and cut them into not too large cubes. Chop the knob.
- Add the garlic and chilli pepper to the onions in the saucepan, mix well, add all the remaining ingredients and season.
- Now fill the pot with water – as much as fits in ….. bring to the boil once, then turn down the heat and simmer for 35 minutes – done!
