Hearty cabbage soup

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 250 g tomatoes
  • 1 small bell pepper(s)
  • 500 g sauerkraut
  • 2 pairs of sausages (Debreziner)
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 2 tsp marjoram
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp celery salt
  • 1 tsp caraway seeds
  • 1 liter beef broth (beef soup)
  • oil
  • possibly cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Finely chop the onion, slice the Debreziner, and roast it. Add the quartered tomatoes, finely sliced ​​bell peppers, and some sauerkraut, then pour in the soup. Add the spices and simmer. The cabbage should still be crunchy. If desired, add cream to taste.
