Anja´s Dutch Stew
The perfect anja´s dutch stew recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 kg Mett
- 1 kg Onions vegetable onions)
- 1 kg Potato
- 1 kg Carrots
- 1,5 l Vegetable broth
- 2 tbsp Oil
- Roughly chop the onions, cut the potatoes and carrots into small pieces.
- Fry the mince in a very large saucepan with the oil, stirring, until it turns gray and disintegrates, do not let it turn brown. Then add the onions and cook until they start to translate.
- Fold in the potatoes and carrots, top up with the stock until everything is covered. Let simmer gently over a low heat for approx. 45 minutes, season with salt and pepper if necessary. If you like, you can refine the stew with (fresh) herbs.
- Tastes best like (almost) all stews on the second day, alternatively let it cool down and briefly bring to the boil. Enjoy your meal!
