Classic Kale
The perfect classic kale recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 6 thickness Floury potatoes
- 2 packet Kale
- 4 Sausages
- Salt, pepper, nutmeg
- This is how my mom always cooked the kale … by the way, it was traditionally always on December 24th. noon and this ritual was not deviated from ….. so each of us certainly has his childhood memories
- First peel the potatoes and cut into small cubes
- Cover the potato cubes with water and bring to a boil
- After about 20 minutes, place the frozen vegetable blocks on top of the potatoes and add the sausages
- Simmer at a low temperature until the kale is soft – can take an hour
- At the end of the cooking time, put the sausages aside and mash the vegetable / potato mixture with a masher and stir together.
- Add spices and season to taste
