Classic Kale

The perfect classic kale recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 6 thickness Floury potatoes
  • 2 packet Kale
  • 4 Sausages
  • Salt, pepper, nutmeg
  1. This is how my mom always cooked the kale … by the way, it was traditionally always on December 24th. noon and this ritual was not deviated from ….. so each of us certainly has his childhood memories
  2. First peel the potatoes and cut into small cubes
  3. Cover the potato cubes with water and bring to a boil
  4. After about 20 minutes, place the frozen vegetable blocks on top of the potatoes and add the sausages
  5. Simmer at a low temperature until the kale is soft – can take an hour
  6. At the end of the cooking time, put the sausages aside and mash the vegetable / potato mixture with a masher and stir together.
  7. Add spices and season to taste
  8. 8 I hope you like the kale as good as my family …
