Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 275°F.
- Remove ham from packaging and discard the bone guard.
- Place ham sliced side down into a shallow baking dish and cover with aluminum foil.
- Heat on center rack for 15 minutes per pound (ham weight is printed on the white tag attached to the net).
- Let stand 20 minutes.
How do you cook a ham signature select?
- Remove ham from packaging and place flat side down in 2-inch deep baking pan, fat side up. Cover ham tightly with aluminum foil to help retain moisture.
- Bake approximately 15 minutes per pound, or until internal temperature reaches 130 degrees F.
How do you cook a spiral ham without drying it out?
- Preheat 325.
- Remove spiral ham from package, reserve the liquid.
- Pour package juices in the bottom of the pan to avoid drying it out.
- Cover spiral ham tightly with foil, no steam escapes.
- Place center of oven.
How long should I cook a precooked spiral ham?
Cover pan tightly with aluminum foil. Bake at 275˚F for approximately 15 minutes per pound, until heated through (see chart). Do not overcook! Remove ham from oven and let stand 20 to 30 minutes before serving.
