Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 600 g pork fillet(s)
- 5 tbsp olive oil
- 1 organic lemon(s)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp oregano
- some salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Cut the fillet into slices and place them on the wooden skewers, leaving some space between each slice. Squeeze the lemon and finely chop or grate the garlic. Mix together a marinade from olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, oregano, salt, and pepper. Brush the fillet skewers thoroughly with the marinade and let it marinate for a while. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat) and cook the skewers in an ovenproof dish for about 25 to 30 minutes. Turn them over halfway through. This goes very well with fries and tzatziki. It tastes even better with coarsely chopped fresh oregano.
