- 50 grams of fresh turmeric (organic quality) and an additional 2 tablespoons of turmeric powder

Making the seasoning paste: This is how the mixture works
Get all the ingredients handy and follow the steps below:
- Peel the onion and roughly chop it.
- Roughly chop the fresh ginger and turmeric root. Peeling is not necessary if you bought organic products.
- Cut the bottom off the lemongrass and then remove the tough outer layer. Cut the grass into pieces.
- Peel the garlic and cut the cloves in half.
- Put all the ingredients you have just prepared in a tall container and squeeze in the lime juice.
- Now add the remaining spices to the mixture and blend everything with a hand blender or blender.
- Mix everything until a homogeneous mass is formed.
- Pour the yellow curry paste into a sterilized glass and add some tasteless vegetable oil (e.g. rapeseed oil) to finish. This way the paste cannot mold.
- Store the spice mix in the fridge and use it within 14 days
