Egg salad

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper
  • 3 pinches of sugar
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 6 eggs

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 35 minutes

Boil the eggs for about 10-12 minutes, rinse, and peel. Then break them up slightly with an egg harp and place them in a bowl. Mash everything again with a fork until you get small pieces. Now add the other ingredients and mix thoroughly. Season to taste. If you like it a little thicker or thinner, add a little more mayonnaise. If you’re adding herbs, use a little less salt. If the eggs haven’t been chilled beforehand, place the bowl in the refrigerator and remove it half an hour before serving.
