Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 bunch chives (Saarland bunch, these are about 4 times as thick as in other federal states)
  • 8 eggs, hard boiled
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 6 tbsp vinegar
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 125 ml cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Saarland specialty

Wash the chives and cut them into approximately 1/2 cm long rolls. Dice or slice the hard-boiled eggs. Mix with the chives. Make a salad dressing with the remaining ingredients and add to the mixture. Mix well. Tastes delicious with fried potatoes.
