Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g jacket potatoes
  • 3 onions
  • 4 pairs of Vienna sausages
  • 3 gherkins
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp marjoram
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 bunch of chives

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel the potatoes and dice them. Peel and dice the onion. Slice the sausages. Heat butter and oil in a pan. Fry the diced potatoes. Once browned, add the onion, cucumber, and sausages and fry for 10 minutes. Season everything with salt, pepper, and marjoram. Fry the eggs in a separate pan and season with salt. Top the sausage pan with the eggs before serving and sprinkle with chopped chives.
