Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 400 g flour
- 125 g sugar
- 200 g butter or margarine, cold
- 1 egg(s)
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 small bottle(s) of rum flavoring
- 200 g apricot jam
- 350 g flour
- 175 g sugar
- 200 g butter, cold
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- Grease for the tray
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Mix the flour, baking powder, and vanilla sugar by hand and place on a work surface. Make a well in the center. Add the egg and rum flavoring there. Sprinkle pieces of butter and sugar around the edges. Starting in the center, mix the eggs and flour together, then stir in the butter. Quickly knead everything until smooth and wrap in foil and refrigerate for half an hour. Alternatively, if making the dough, use a food processor to process all ingredients at once and refrigerate in the same way. Grease a baking tray and preheat the oven to 180°C – 200°C top/bottom heat (150°C – 170°C fan-assisted). Roll out the dough evenly on the tray and spread it with the apricot jam. Now make the crumble from the listed ingredients and spread it evenly over the cake. Bake for 40-50 minutes.
