Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 6 pairs of sausages, fine
- 2 pairs of sausages (Vienna sausages)
- 5 juniper berries
- 3 carnations
- 25 peppercorns
- 2 liters of water
- 125 ml vinegar
- 10 onions
- 4 cloves garlic
- Celery salt
- 2 bay leaves
- 4 cubes of stock
- Salt
- Sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
In a large pot, combine the stock with water, vinegar, and all the listed spices and simmer gently. Meanwhile, peel and thinly slice the onions and garlic. Add them to the stock and simmer for 10 minutes. Reduce the heat, add the sausages and wieners, and let them simmer or warm through.
