  • 1 head of broccoli
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 kg potatoes, cooked (ideally from the day before)
  • oil

  • 100 g cheese, grated
  • ½ cup(s) water

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

First, boil the potatoes in salted water. Boiled potatoes from the day before are ideal. If using freshly cooked potatoes, let them cool slightly. Brown the smoked pork in a pan and season lightly with pepper. Trim the broccoli, cut it into small florets, and blanch briefly. Dice the onions, fry them in a little oil until translucent, and add the broccoli. Add a little salt. Add a little water and let the broccoli simmer until the water is gone. Then place the fried smoked pork in a casserole dish, alternating it with the steamed broccoli and the potatoes. Heat the cream and dissolve the cream cheese in it. Season the cream and cheese sauce with pepper, salt, and nutmeg and pour it over the ingredients in the casserole dish. Sprinkle with the grated cheese and bake everything in the oven. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Baking time approx. 30 minutes.
