Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500g spaghetti
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup of cream
- 1 onion(s)
- 200 g ham
- 50 g cheese, grated
- salt and pepper
- herbs as desired
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Cook spaghetti in salted water until al dente and drain. Whisk the eggs with the cream. Briefly fry the ham and onion in a pan and add to the egg and cream mixture. Season with salt and pepper, adding more herbs if desired. Transfer everything to a large baking dish and sprinkle with cheese. Preheat the oven to the grill and bake the carbonara for about 5 minutes, until the cheese is golden brown.
