Kale among themselves

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 450 g kale, frozen
  • 4 large potatoes
  • 1 onion(s), diced
  • lard
  • salt and pepper
  • some mustard, hot
  • 1 cube of bouillon
  • 2 sausages (Mettwurst)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Heat some lard in a pot and lightly brown the onions. Add a little water, dissolve the bouillon cube, and cook the kale. Season with salt, pepper, and mustard. Halfway through cooking, add the Mettwurst sausages and let them heat through. Peel the potatoes and cook in salted water until tender. Then mash them and mix them with the kale. Serve on plates and place the Mettwurst sausages on top. Serve with mustard.
