Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g potatoes
  • 500 g flour
  • ¼ liter water, carbonated
  • 2 eggs
  • 150 g bacon, diced
  • ⅛ liter cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Peel the potatoes, cut them into sticks, and boil them in salted water. Whisk the flour, eggs, and water together to form a tough dough. Add the dough a tablespoon at a time to boiling salted water and let it stand for about 5 minutes. Brown the bacon and deglaze with cream. Combine the potatoes and dumplings in a bowl and pour over the bacon and cream sauce.
