Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 trout, approx. 200-300 g
- n. B. Lovage, fresh (Maggi herb)
- n. B. Marjoram, fresh
- Salt
- pepper
- 250 g butter, approx.
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Wash the trout, pat dry, and score diagonally on both sides. Finely chop the lovage and marjoram and mix with the butter, salt, and pepper until smooth. Spread some of the butter mixture into the diagonal slits (this works best with your fingers), and the rest into the abdomen of the trout. Then wrap the trout in aluminum foil and grill for about 25-30 minutes, turning frequently. Any side dish will do. You can also place the trout on mushrooms, zucchini slices, or pre-cooked potato slices, then wrap them in the foil and grill.
