Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500 g potatoes, boiled
  • 300 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 onion(s)
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • cumin
  • Herbs, mixed, Italian
  • 1 class can/n tomatoes (Pizza tomatoes)
  • 1 small eggplant(s)
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red
  • 1 bell pepper(s), yellow
  • some water
  • possibly broth, instant
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Slice the cooked potatoes and place them in a casserole dish. Brown the ground beef and season to taste. Add the tomatoes. Add a little water and broth, if desired. Spread this mixture over the potatoes. Wash the eggplant, chop it finely, and fry it. Season with salt and pepper. Clean and dice the bell peppers, and fry them separately. Then arrange the vegetables on top of the potatoes – it looks best if you place the German flag on top (to do this, place the eggplants skin-side up). Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 30 minutes. Serve hot.
