Potato dumplings with a twist
My kids really like dumplings, so here’s a variation. You can also make these from leftover dumplings (from big parties). Shape the dough into small dumplings. Let them cook in salted water for 20-25 minutes according to the instructions. Then place the finished dumplings in a baking dish, top with thinly sliced mushrooms and diced ham. Make a sauce from the sour cream and cream, season well with salt, pepper, garlic, paprika, and Maggi, and maybe add parsley too. Then pour the sauce over the dumplings. Sprinkle with cheese and bake at 200°C until the cheese is nice and golden brown. I always serve it with a salad.
