Savoy cabbage stew

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 savoy cabbage
  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 5 m.-sized carrot(s)
  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 5 onions
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 200 g whipped cream
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 salt and pepper
  • Sugar
  • nutmeg
  • Caraway seeds
  • lemon juice
  • some water

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Clean and chop the savoy cabbage. Peel and chop the potatoes and carrots. Peel and finely chop the onions and garlic, then fry them in a large pot. Add the minced meat and fry. Pour in a little water and add the potatoes and carrots. Then add the chopped savoy cabbage. Cook everything in a covered pot for about half an hour. Finally, add the cream and mustard and stir in. Season to taste. Serve hot. Tip: Use the caraway seeds in powder form, and use plenty of it.
