Pears, beans and bacon

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g streaky bacon
  • 1 liter meat broth
  • 2 pts. green beans, frozen
  • 500 g pear(s), small
  • 1 sprig(s) savory
  • salt and pepper
  • ½ bunch parsley

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cut the bacon into large cubes and fry, then add the meat broth. Add the broad beans and the washed, stemmed, and flower-end-removed pears, along with the savory. Simmer in a covered pan for 30 minutes. Season the stew to taste after cooking and serve sprinkled with washed, chopped parsley.
