Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 100 g lentils, red
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 cup of cream
- ½ cup of crème fraîche or sour cream
- Coriander, ground
- Cumin, ground
- Paprika powder
- Salt
- possibly Parmesan
- 300 g tagliatelle, green pasta or spaghetti
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Cook the lentils in water with salt and coriander for 5 to 10 minutes. Dice the onion and sauté in oil until translucent. Add the cream and crème fraîche and simmer until creamy. Add the lentils. Season with salt, coriander, cumin, and paprika to taste. The sauce should have a beautiful, pale red color. Stir in the cooked pasta and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
