Ingredients for 5 servings:
- 1 jar bulgur, fine
- 1 jar Lentils, red
- 3 glasses of water
- 1 tbsp paprika paste
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 lemon(s)
- 1 some parsley
- 2 bunches of chives
- some oil
- Salt and pepper, black
- possibly leaf lettuce
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Wash the lentils. Cook with 3 glasses of water until softened. Remove from heat and add the finely chopped bulgur wheat and let it swell. Now chop the onions and parsley. Sauté the paprika and onion in oil. Add the chopped chives, parsley, and onions to the lentil-bulgur mixture, then knead everything together. Add salt and spices and knead. Shape into kofte and serve with lettuce leaves, if desired.
