Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 800 g pear(s), fully ripe
- some lemon juice
- 500 ml white wine
- 1 vanilla pod(s)
- 1 lemon(s), untreated, zest
- 4 cl schnapps (fruit brandy)
- 40 g pine nuts
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Chop the peeled and cored pears and drizzle with lemon juice. Simmer the wine, split vanilla pod, and lemon zest for a few minutes. Add the pears to the liquid, let them steep briefly, then remove them from the liquid and reduce the liquid a little further. Season with schnapps, pour over the fruit, and chill. Sprinkle with toasted pine nuts.
