Turkish yogurt dessert

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g yogurt (10% fat, e.g. Gazi)
  • 100 g goat’s cheese
  • 8 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 50 g almonds, slivered (dry roasted)
  • 50 g dried figs (cut into small cubes)
  • 50 g dried apricot(s) (cut into small cubes)
  • 50 g dried dates (cut into small cubes)
  • 4 figs, fresh
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • some cinnamon, ground

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Mix the yogurt with the goat’s cheese, lemon juice, a pinch of salt, 6 tablespoons of honey, and the cinnamon. Stir in the fruit cubes. Toast the almonds and quarter the figs. Divide the yogurt among 4 bowls, sprinkle with the toasted almonds, arrange the quartered figs on top, and drizzle with the remaining honey.
