Turkish Walnut Chicken

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 150 g walnuts
  • 50 g breadcrumbs
  • 400 ml vegetable stock
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 garlic clove(s), crushed
  • 3 tbsp vinegar (white wine vinegar)
  • 6 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 chicken, grilled
  • 3 tsp paprika powder, sweet
  • e.g. parsley, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Grind the walnuts and mix with the breadcrumbs. Bring the vegetable broth to a boil and whisk it into the nut mixture while it’s still hot. Mix with salt, pepper, crushed garlic, white wine vinegar, and 3 tablespoons of olive oil. Let the sauce cool. Remove the chicken from the bones and cut into bite-sized pieces. Mix the meat with the sauce. Mix the remaining olive oil with the paprika and bring to a boil. Pour over the meat before serving. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
