Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 2 jars of bulgur, fine
  • 2 tbsp soft wheat semolina
  • 1 onion(s), grated
  • 2 glasses of water, warm
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 jar Flour , slightly less than a jar
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Bulgur toplari

First steps: One jar holds approximately 200 ml. Pour the bulgur, soft wheat semolina, and grated onion into a bowl. Add the water, cover, and let stand for 20 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients and knead for about 10 minutes. Keep your hands moist and form marble-sized balls from the bulgur mixture. Place in boiling salted water and cook for about 15 minutes. Remove from the water with a slotted spoon. Transfer the balls to a plate. Serve with garlic yogurt.
