Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g minced beef
  • 1 carrot(s), diced
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 onion(s), finely grated
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • salt and pepper
  • ½ cup rice
  • 2 large potatoes
  • ½ cup yogurt
  • 1 tsp flour
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Meatballs in a potato and yogurt stew

Heat 1 liter of salted water with the carrot. Separate the egg. Mix the ground beef, egg white, onion, rice, and tomato paste and season with salt and pepper. Form the mixture into small balls. Boil in the salted water for 10 minutes. Dice the potatoes and add them. Mix the yogurt with the egg yolk and flour and add to the broth. Boil for another 7 minutes. Season with nutmeg.
