Spanish garlic sauce with ham

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 15 cloves garlic
  • 150 g mayonnaise, preferably homemade
  • 250 g crème fraîche
  • 100 g cooked ham (butcher’s cooked ham)
  • Salt
  • Cayenne pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Delicious sauce for grilled food or fondue

Peel the garlic cloves and boil them in a little water for about 5 minutes. Cut the ham into wafer-thin strips and mix with the mayonnaise and crème fraîche. Press the garlic and add it to the cream along with the spices. Let it marinate in the refrigerator. The sauce goes well with shrimp, meat, fondue, and as a grilled side dish with fresh bread.
