Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 m.-sized eggs
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 pack of cream cheese
  • 250 ml cream
  • 20 ladyfingers
  • 50 g butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 hours; Total time approx. 5 hours 30 minutes

Norwegian ice cream cake

Finely crumble the sponge fingers, melt the butter, and stir into half of the crumbs to form a dough. Press the crumbs into the bottom of a springform pan. Separate the eggs. Mix the egg yolks with the sugar. Whisk the cream and egg whites in separate bowls until stiff peaks form and stir into the cream cheese. Then add the sugar and egg yolk mixture and mix again. Pour into the springform pan and sprinkle the remaining crumbs over the top. Freeze for at least 5 hours, then enjoy. Tastes simply delicious on its own, or with hot apple strudel!
