Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 dl oat flakes
  • 1 ½ dl milk
  • 1 ½ dl sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 50 g butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • Bitter almond flavor, a few drops
  • breadcrumbs
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Let the oats swell in the milk. In the meantime, grease a baking dish with butter and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Beat the egg and sugar until frothy. Mix the oats with the flour, baking powder, and flavoring, then add the melted butter. Stir everything into the egg mixture and pour into the baking dish. Bake at 200°C for about 30 minutes, then dust with powdered sugar. Serve lukewarm with applesauce, jam, cream, or vanilla ice cream. It’s more of a dessert to eat with a spoon than a regular cake.
