Swedish apple pie

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 apples
  • 100 g butter
  • 150 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 180 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 100 ml milk
  • 2 tbsp sugar, for sprinkling
  • ½ tbsp ground cinnamon, for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Apple cocoa

Preheat the oven to 175°C. Grease a round baking dish (24 cm diameter) with butter. Peel and quarter the apples, remove the cores, and slice them thinly. Cream the butter and sugar until well combined. Add the eggs and continue beating until smooth. Mix the flour with the baking powder. Alternately stir the milk and flour into the batter. Spread the batter into the dish and top with the apple slices. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Bake in the center of the oven for about 60 minutes. Check if the batter is cooked through with a skewer. Serve with vanilla sauce or ice cream.
