Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 kg flour (wheat flour)
- 375 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp butter
- 20 g yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 liter milk, warm
- corn flour
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 30 minutes
Dissolve the yeast and salt in the milk. Mix the flour with the remaining ingredients, add the warm milk, and knead everything together. Then let it rise in a warm place. Spread the dough on a cloth sprinkled with sifted cornmeal. Divide the dough into small pieces and shape into flat, round rolls. Let it rise again. Fry them in a pan over low heat until golden brown.
