Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 500 g flour, wheat flour
- 500 g corn flour, finely ground
- 1 pack of yeast
- 850 ml water
- Salt

Crumble the yeast into the lukewarm water. Then mix all the ingredients and knead for about 5 minutes, until the dough no longer sticks to your hands. Cover and let rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes. Then knead briefly and form a loaf of bread. Dust the loaf and baking sheet with flour and bake in a preheated oven (200°C). Check with a toothpick whether the dough is still sticky. If it isn’t, the bread is done. Tip: This basic recipe can be used in so many different ways. For example, you can stuff a sardine or chopped bacalhau with onions and olive oil into the bread before baking. Tastes great!
