Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 chicken
- 20 g almond(s), peeled
- 100 g currants
- 3 onions
- Salt
- Soup vegetables
- 1 cup rice
- Butter, for frying
Instructions

Chicken Arabic style
Brown the cleaned chicken in butter, cook in lightly salted water with some soup vegetables until tender, and keep warm. Lightly fry roughly chopped, peeled almonds and washed and dried currants in butter. Slice the onions into rings, sauté in butter until translucent, and remove. Brown one cup of rice in the same butter, add three cups of strained chicken broth, and finish cooking the rice. Carve the chicken, arrange it in a large dish, cover first with onion slices and then with rice, and sprinkle with currants and almonds.
