Cappuccino – Tiramisu

Spread the love

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 g mascarpone
  • 200 g ladyfingers
  • 1 cup(s) cappuccino
  • 50 g sugar
  • ½ jar Amaretto
  • 3 eggs
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 hours; Total time approx. 10 hours 40 minutes

Drizzle the ladyfingers with cappuccino (do not let them soak). Whisk the egg yolks with Amaretto until frothy. I always use a little more Amaretto because I like the taste. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites with sugar until frothy. Mix the mascarpone into the egg yolk mixture and fold in the beaten egg whites. Then layer the ladyfingers and the mascarpone cream alternately in a dish or bowl. Place the mascarpone cream on top. Dust with cocoa powder. The tiramisu tastes best when refrigerated overnight.
