traditional Brazilian chocolate cake
Grease and flour a springform pan (Ø 23 cm). Mix the butter and sugar with a mixer. Briefly beat in the eggs one at a time. Mix the flour, cocoa, and baking powder and add them. Pour the batter into the pan and bake at 180°C for about 30 minutes. Check if the cake is done with a wooden skewer. Remove the pan from the oven and let the cake cool in it. For the glaze, mix the milkmaid with cocoa, butter, and honey in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove the cake from the pan and quickly spread the glaze while it is still warm. Sprinkle all over with chocolate sprinkles.
